Sharam - Our Love

Pff this track is killer! Heard this track live dropped by Sharam himself on october and I've been trying to get my hands on this single in HQ but haven't had any luck. Good thing it goes out on Beatport tomorrow!

Fresh To Death! SBTRKT (pronounced as "subtract") is London's own Aaron Jerome. His studio album young turks really has good tracks and has that sound of a attenuated london electro vibe. Highly recommended. Check these tracks out!

One of the more melodic tracks of the album and my favorite.

MIIKE SNOW

Check out Miike Snow's latest single! Am I the only one who feels like its been way too long?! Enjoy!

Miike Snow - Devil's Work

Ashley Jones created a superb remix of Foster The People’s Call It What You Want for a spin and the result is a panty-soaking dance floor groove machine. Turn this up on your Bose Speakers and enjoy the pre party this weekend!
Stay healthy my friends!

Anonymous London dub-inspired DJ and producer SBTRKT dropped some hidden gems on the Japanese release of his first and self-titled album this year, but luckily you don’t have to drop cash on international shipping to hear them!

You can hear “Fried Eggs” now! It’s creepy, catchy, and simple in SBTRKT’s classic stye.

Downloaded is in early october and it failed to make its way to the blog but nonetheless here it is! A Track's fire spitting rendition of The Rapture's How deep is your love. I def like the remix better than the original. Be the judge of this yourself and strap on your headphones turn it up!

A Track Remix....

This here is the original version by The Rapture...

You can always count on Gaudino as he never fails to deliver fire renditions of vocally charged tracks. This adds electro umph to an already uplifting track. Give it a go, I think you’ll approve.

Warning, the chorus is mildly addicting.

This is the original video of The Wanted. Glad You Came.

pause at 0:07 man have you ever seen a such a group of douches? hahaha
Who are these guys? The new backstreet boys?

Yeah I'm definitely loving the colabs. Check Jay and Rihanna on this bumpin' new track!

This is a snippet of Rihanna’s Jamie XX-produced “Drunk on Love.”
Mainstream and indie have begun to fuse, I blame the fucking hipsters.
Anyways enjoy!

Pff, Drake killed it here alongside Rihanna with their smooth vocals! Great new track!
I'm looking forward to listening to the new Drake cd! Be sure to follow the next couple of posts!

Amazing, Possibly Seizure-Inducing Video for Jay-Z & Kanye West’s “Niggas In Paris”

"Niggas In Paris", Watch The Throne's next single, got the colorful lyrics video treatment from one Josheph Maruca. It's wild and hurts your eyes a bit, but I can't stop watching. - pma

There is something about Estelle's voice I really love. I'm not a big fan of Rick Ross but I'm starting to like his collaborations with artists like Drake and this time Estelle! Check it!

One of my favorite posts this week. You have to like this track! Great collaboration between both of these great artists. The lyrics are somewhat ephemeral but no doubt inspire a good time. Great production whoever that was by the way. Enjoy!

This is for all you dubstep junkies. Pretty sweet remix of DJ Khaled's sick track. Personally I'm not too big of a fan of dubstep but this track rocks.

27 July 2011

Double dose of Mr Harris today! This track rocks! Bunch of you people out there that just broke up with you significant other are gonna like the lyrics! hahaha

The middle eastern instrument sampled in this track is real catchy and the first thing that popped into my head was snake charming! I prefer the remix the the original but thats just me. I I'll let you guys check both out!

And for the photography part to this post thats Guido Mocafico. The most amazing pictures of snakes I have ever seen. check them out at his site.

Featured in ASOT 516 as Tune of the Week and remixed by the all-mighty Orjan Nilsen. This is a pretty sick tune with a nice beat and great vocals, definitely a 'must check-out.'

Luxury rap, the Hermes of verses

With just days away from the the long-awaited album, Jay-Z and Kanye offer up a mini-documentary revealing some of inner-workings during the creation process of Watch The Throne. If you have 10 minutes to set aside, you can check out how some of it all went down. Watch the Throne is set to release on August 1, 2011 digitally and August 5, 2011 physically.

Whad up guys! If you hadn't noticed yesterday I invited Toyo to be a collaborator for the blog. He's a long time buddy of mine who has great taste in the whole electro-house-trance scene.
Change is always for the better so I'm certain this breath of fresh air will make Whad Up Doc?! a better source for straight up good music!

Welcome Toyo!

Headstrong feat. Stine Grove – Tears (Aurosonic Progressive remix) by believeintrance

WOW. I may have stumbled upon one of the greatest vocal trance songs of the year. Definetely a runner-up for tune of the year & has been featured in ASOT 515 & named Tune of the Week. Get ready for beautiful vocals, and aesthetics personified in music.... FUAAARKKKKK!!!!!

George Acosta feat. Kate Walsh - Nite Time (Ruby & Tony Remix) by Diego C Tracks

Ahh... onto contributions. Let's see if I can throw in my 2 cents and enlighten you guys with some seksi trance-ish electronic music :)

I heard this track on BPM a couple of months ago as I was driving to work. I had this song stuck in my head all day and I was clueless as to why, 'till I realized it was because it was such a chillaxed & great song.

LUPE FIASCO // TREY SONGZ

Click to download - Lupe Fiasco ft Trey Songz - Out Of My Head

Hip Hop song with a lot of energy and soul!

Everything works, you’re a real good chorus / I’m a real good verse, freestyle unrehearsed / So clean, no curse / And when the song’s gone man everything hurts / So I put it in reverse / Go back to the scene where I seen you first / Yeah, I need you to sing that single again / Play that video I seen you up in.

Oh and thats Terry Richardson, Lupe, and Pharell

You got to love Afrojack, he always has consistent great music specially when he adds female vocals to his tracks! Enjoy this one!

Wait for the the drop around 2.40

Lloyd - Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) (featuring Andre 3000 & narrated by Lil Wayne) by Interscope Records

Dedication to my Ex ft Andre 3000 and narrated by Lil' Wayne. Reminds me of old Outkast tunes. I am not really into any exgirlfriend songs (neither whiny nor retaliating) or most of those teeny explicit lyrics but man are they catchy! Great track enjoy!

BTW: I posted this back in March via Roberto Varela but Jesus Saldivar showed me this new mix.
CHIDDY BANG // ICONA POP

Mind Your Manners by ChiddyBang

There we go. This is the type of feel good hip hop I like. Chiddy Bang delivers another great track!

Liszt // Kissin

Just incredible. I heard this for the first time today and I was astounded. Without a doubt Liszt was one of the greatest piano composers ever. That is Kissin playing he is considered a virtuoso player which means he is a complete master of the piano.
