Lana Del Rey // Penguin Prison

Penguins strike back! This is a very original remix of Blue Jeans. The gorgeous voice of Elizabeth is perfectly combined with dark beats and the violin in the chorus which finishes this track off perfectly.

Passion Pit // The M Machine

Another great remix I heard last night!

Lana Del Rey // RAC

This track game me the chills when I first listened to it!

RAC does not cease to impress! They are without a doubt some of the best remix artists out there!

Even cool is my crush Elizabeth Woolridge from Lana del Rey.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Holy Ghost!

No this is't what your religion teacher in prep school taught you!
(Although the allusion to a church chorus at the beginning makes you think otherwise. Nice one Holy Ghost!)

This is NYC based duo Holy Ghost! (one of my favorite groups)

They just released a buch of tracks on their new cd! check it out at  HERE!

The Temper Trap // Strange Talk

Listen to this song in your car at high volume!

This remix is great!

The beginning makes you feel like a badass when you drive. HA!

Metric

Pow! There is something sexy about a this track. Love the female vocals accompanied by the guitar rifs!

Dragonette

Lets kick this thread of posts with Dragonette's high energy track Rocket Ship! Enjoy.

IMAGINE DRAGONS | PENGUINE PRISON

While on the road touring across the U.S.Interscope Records signees Imagine Dragons have unveiled their latest commissioned remix of their single "It's Time" off the band's debutKidInaKorner/Interscope release Continued Slience EP.

The remix is the third in a series of remixes of the band's popular single, the first two of which were handled by Vaski and Famties. For the latest remix the band called on NYC's Chris Glover, better known as Penguin Prison whose expertise lies6 is crafting catchy disco-infused pop tunes.

Penguin Prison shows off his chops as he tackles the Las Vegas quartet's single by injecting a healthy dose of fun into the track and giving birth to a carefree pop-friendly tune. Stream and download Penguin Prison's rework of "It's Time" posted below. Also, be sure to check out Penguin Prison this summer as he will be touring with Class Actress.  Follow the artists' links below for tour dates and information.

SHARAM

Sharam - Our Love

Pff this track is killer! Heard this track live dropped by Sharam himself on october and I've been trying to get my hands on this single in HQ but haven't had any luck. Good thing it goes out on Beatport tomorrow!

SBTRKT

Fresh To Death! SBTRKT (pronounced as "subtract") is London's own Aaron Jerome. His studio album young turks really has good tracks and has that sound of a attenuated london electro vibe. Highly recommended. Check these tracks out!

One of the more melodic tracks of the album and my favorite.

FOSTER THE PEOPLE // TREASURE FINGERS

Ashley Jones created a superb remix of Foster The People’s Call It What You Want for a spin and the result is a panty-soaking dance floor groove machine. Turn this up on your Bose Speakers and enjoy the pre party this weekend!
